WEST END

  • Copeland to Western
  • Sanitary work Copeland to Western (week of 7/9)
  • Western will close thru Friday (7/13)
  • Sanitary and Water Laterals (7/13-7/16)
  • Storm work Copeland to Western (Week of 7/16)
  • Copeland will close next week followed by Western again (7/16)
  • Gilmore to Baltzell
  • Water work - end of next week (7/20)
  • Earthwork -Nakoma, Odana, Glenway (week of 7/9-7/16)
  • Concrete - sidewalk, curb Nakoma/Odana/Monroe (week of 7/9)
  • Plan to pour concrete table top (7/25 &7/26)
  • Concrete - table top Glenway (week of 7/16)

MIDDLE

  • Commonwealth to Westlawn - Sanitary lines & laterals (Week of 7/9-7/16)
  • Westlawn closed thru early next week (week of 7/16)
  • Commonwealth - south side of street storm work (7/20-7/21)
  • Terry Place to Woodrow - Water work (7/17-7/19)
  • Pickford - South side of intersection will remained closed at this time
  • Need the water levels to drop before work can be completed on the Box Culvert at the Pickford intersection
  • Arbor Dr will be the best access to the south side Pickford area

EAST END

  • Spooner - Will reopen Thursday (7/12)
  • Closed for storm work
  • Grant - MG&E will be replacing a pole at the corner of Grant & Monroe on Monday & Tuesday (7/16 & 7/17). The intersection will be closed for 1/2 day Monday. The crew will eventually open the Southbound lane on Monday afternoon.
  • Northbound Grant will be closed Monday & Tuesday
  • Van Buren to Edgewood - water work (7/14-7/21)
  • Van Buren will be a staging area. Intersection will close Friday thru next week (7/13-7/20)
  • Stockton to Spooner- Earthwork Cut street (7/13-7/17)
  • Breese to Stockton - concrete work for sidewalk & curb (7/19-7/21)
  • Stockton Ct - Will be closed until future notice. Staging area for project.
  • Regent to Monroe on Breese Ter - sidewalk closed for gas work. Will take a few weeks.
  • Breese plaza -continued work to complete the plaza area
  • MG&E Electric Shut Off - Wednesday, July 18th 5AM-7AM
  • Outage will include ALL customers in the 1700-1900 blocks of Monroe and 2001 Monroe St.
  • In addition it will include residential customers along Fox, Keyes, West Lawn, S. Prospect, and a few customers on the south side of Monroe along Van Buren and Harrison.

SIDEWALK CLOSURE

Sidewalk closures will be taking place on varies parts of Monroe Street. Access to businesses will remain open. If there are issues, please reach out.

  • Breese Terrace area
  • Regent to Monroe on Breese Ter - sidewalk closed for gas work. Will take a few weeks.
  • 1600 block - 1700 block (north side) - closed for new construction project.

INTERSECTION CLOSURE

The following intersections will have closures.

  • Breese Ter- Closed to thru traffic. Open to local traffic for businesses. Please communicate with your customers.
  • Stockton Ct. - closed until future notice.
  • Spooner - reopen Thursday (7/12)
